How Our Technology Works

About the

Company

Foresite Healthcare got its start in 2013 as a University spinoff from the pioneering Center for Eldercare and Rehabilitation Technology and Aging in Place programs. Funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF), fundamental research in these university labs and healthcare centers began in the early 2000s and combined clinical research with cutting edge engineering and advanced analytics to pioneer concepts on data-driven proactive care. They showed that sensor technology and automated alerts could enable clinical staff to identify and intervene early in preventable injury and health conditions leading to better patient outcomes and lower healthcare costs.

The same clinically-focused innovation spirit drives Foresite Healthcare’s advanced engineering and data science work today. Our Patientcare® and Eldercare
® platforms are constantly advanced to deliver predictive analytics that enable preventive care and personalized solutions to hospitals, rehabilitation centers and senior living communities.
